Genpei Tōma Den: Computer Boardgame is a RPG-like computer board game derived from the video game Genpei Tōma Den, where the player controls Taira no Kagekiyo to defeat his nemesis Minamoto no Yoritomo. The game was released for Famicom (NES) in Japan in 1988.
Gameplay[]
When starting the game, in the first screen it is set how many players will participate, and each write their names. If no name is written, player 1's standard name will be Mappii (Mappy), player 2 is Girugame (Gilgamesh shortened), player 3 Topukapu and player 4 Nyamuko (Nyamco). In single player, player 2 will be named Yoritomo and controlled by the CPU. After setting the players, the rules are presented, explaining about three important items, where they can be found, and where each player starts, the three items and each player being randomly placed in one part of the map. The current player walks around the map to reach his objectives while other player will place enemies in the map to attack.
